Lockdown Portraits
In 2020, during a time of global uncertainty, Lockdown Portraits was born. This project captured people from around the world through video calls, painting them in watercolour. Each portrait tells a story of resilience and human connection during a period of physical distancing. What started as a personal project became a turning point in my artistic career, helping me reconnect with my purpose. Many pieces were sold, and the interviews that followed gave me new direction. Lockdown Portraits is a testament to the healing power of art in difficult times, offering a glimpse of hope and unity when we needed it most.
