Edinburgh Castle

This watercolour was inspired by one of my trips around the UK, this time in Edinburgh. It was the first and only time I have been there. In the upper right corner of the painting you can see Edinburgh Castle. The light that day was completely grey, however I decided to give it that light effect by changing the colours. Lately my palette has become more colourful and cheerful, and I want to convey that in scenes that are more grey.
