Description
This painting was made in 2022, after visiting an exhibition in central London and enjoying a sunny day in London. It is very close to the famous downtown street Bond Street. Representing everyday life and the things I experience is a vital part of my work. Sometimes a simple traffic jam can be inspiring for me.
Streets, buildings and cars are very recurrent in my work, and on that sunny day the light had a great impact on me. That is why this work is so luminous. I really liked the perspective of the street, the geometric shapes of light and shadow and how the cars form this kind of S-shape.
