Central London

I painted this in 2022 after spending a sunny day in central London, visiting an exhibition and wandering the streets near Bond Street. It was one of those days when the city felt alive in a special way.

I find inspiration in the ordinary—traffic, streets, the way light moves between buildings. That day, the sunlight hit just right, turning the street into a patchwork of light and shadow. The cars, lined up in an almost perfect S-curve, added to the rhythm of the scene. I had to capture it. That’s why this painting feels so bright, so full of movement.
