Barcelona is a city that I keep returning to—not just physically, but in my mind, in my art. It’s a place that moves me, both visually and emotionally. I have friends there, memories woven into its streets, and every time I visit, I leave with the urge to paint it again.
This piece was born shortly after my last visit in March. I was still carrying the energy of the city with me—the light bouncing off its façades, the colours shifting as the day unfolds. Here, I wanted to capture that sensation through the contrast of violet and yellow, a complementary harmony that reflects Barcelona’s dynamic yet balanced spirit.
The Mercedes in the foreground, the smaller cars lining the street—they don’t just add perspective; they invite you into the scene, making you a part of it. This is Barcelona through my eyes—bold, cinematic, and alive with movement.
