Outdoor Painting Workshop – Hill Garden & Pergola, Hampstead Heath (14 June 2025)
Step into one of Hampstead Heath’s hidden corners: The Hill Garden and Pergola.
This plein air workshop took place on 14 June 2025, surrounded by classical architecture, climbing roses, and the quiet atmosphere of one of London’s most striking gardens.
It wasn’t an indoor lesson. It was fieldwork: changing light, moving shadows, and the chance to paint directly from life.
Participants painted on site with guidance from Spanish artist José Sánchez Peinado, who shares the same principles he applies in his own Hampstead watercolours.
